Constitution & Bye Laws

1.	Membership is by application to the Committee only, who have the right of refusal of anyone deemed not suitable without giving reasons.
2.	Each member MUST hold a current full fishing licence for the year.
3.	The annual subscription be reviewed and set at the Annual General Meeting.
4.	The Annual General Meeting must take place in the close season not later than the END of February.
5.	The committee have the power to withdraw membership of any member who acts in a manner not in accordance with the aims, principles and objects of the club.
6.	Any member taking part in a competition who cheats or does not comply with the rules CAN at the discretion of the Committee be expelled.
7.	The club is in no way responsible for any injuries or damages caused by or to a member or to any member of the public or their property.
8.	Competition times and venues can only be altered in extreme circumstances with the agreement of the Competition Secretary and members will be notified of such changes as soon as possible.
9.	The committee shall consist of: Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Competition Secretary and three other members of the club.
10.	The Committee shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting and all members of the Committee stand for re-election.
11.	Changes to the constitution can only be made at the AGM or by calling an extraordinary AGM and such changes must be made in writing two weeks before such meetings.
12.	The Competition Secretary be responsible for the rules of each competition and he or his deputy be responsible for the weighing in decisions. Such decisions are final.
13.	All ANNUAL Trophies remain the property of the club.

Recommendation :

All though not a rule, the club requests that all members wear glasses and a hat while fishing to protect their heads and eyes.
